Speaker: Mark Carboni

Talk Description: Identifying and stopping an attack is only part of the job of cyber defenders. Mark will cover current cyber threats and trends as well as a live attack of a target system. He will also examine the artifacts left over to strengthen a system's defense posture.

Speaker Bio: Mark Carboni is an Advisory Security Engineer at RSA, the Security division of EMC. Through-out his career, his focus has been on IT Security and Monitoring technologies; Authentication, SIEM, DLP, Network and Host forensics. In addition to RSA, he also serves in the US Air Force Cyber Surety Operations as a non-commissioned officer. He also frequently speaks at venues educating users about Cyber Security and the dangers within.
